Bradley Lakes, Bradley, North East Lincolnshire, U.K.
I was approached by the directors of Bradley Lakes to assist them in envisioning part of the development that would be happening on the site of the lakes. Bradley Lakes is in the process of being transformed into an environment to aid people with health related issues through angling and other engaging activities. The development of the lakes shall be using recycled shipping containers. The first stages of this development includes two of the shipping containers being redeveloped into a toilet block/welfare centre and the other to a tackle shop/workshop.

Bradley Lakes will be transformed into a sustainable and environmentally friendly site. Two of the features that will be on this site are solar panels featured on the roof of all structures and water recycling.
As this redevelopment of this site is aimed towards individuals with health related issues, lighting of the lakes is of high importance. The above visual shows the lighting proposed for the first stages of the lakes development.
A simple plan was produced to identify the measurements of the shipping containers and their proposed internal design. Scale 1:100 @A3.
Since the visuals were created, the location of the shipping containers have been moved on the site, and have been swapped around. The changing of this is due to underground pipework that has since been discovered when development on the site started in mid-may 2018. The plan above shows the new proposed design for the containers and the visuals shall be altered to reflect the new design. Internal Visuals shall also be re-produced to reflect the new layout of the containers.
